Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson to deploy LTE network for Verizon

US mobile operator, Verizon Wireless granted Long Term Evolution (LTE) contract to Alcatel-Lucent and Ericsson.

Verizon plans to rollout its commercial LTE network by 2010.
