Aksh-BSNL tie-up extend IPTV service offerings to Agra

Leading IPTV service provider, Aksh Optifibre and BSNL launched their popular ‘icontrol’ IPTV services in tourist hot-spot of Agra in Uttar Pradesh.

 

The Agra launch also include some innovative features as value add-on. For instance icontrol Mall allows users to shop from the convenience of their home. Also a First On-Demand Advertisement Channel with pull format advertising, named as A-Tube enables advertisers to effectively reach out to target audience by monitoring their behavioral trends.

 

Commenting on the launch, Dr. K.S. Choudhari, MD, Aksh Optifibre Ltd, said, “This launch is a testament of the spread and growing popularity of icontrol IPTV in India. Aksh believes in expanding mediums of entertainment at competitive pricing through this breakthrough technology of IPTV service. This expansion of the service to multiple cities highlights the growing popularity of the real power of interactivity. With the launch in Agra we have reached a footprint of 15 cities in the country already and plan to increase it to 22 in the next 30 days”

 

Speaking on the launch of icontrol, Mr. Kuldeep Goyal, CMD, BSNL said, “We are happy to partner with Aksh Optifibre to provide IPTV service for the first time in Agra and across multiple states of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and West UP with full interactivity features. This IPTV service will provide entertainment with world class technology experience to all sections of society across the country.”

 

The tie-up is offering the services at a monthly rental of Rs150 including a free set-top box against a fully refundable security deposit of Rs 999.
