HCL Technologies announced that it has won an order from National Insurance Company Ltd. (NIC) to provide end-t-end IT services to the firm.

“This will cover business process re-engineering, application blueprinting and roll-out of 19 applications, systems integration and management services across data centre, networks, security and helpdesk services spanning over 1,034 branches and 10,000 end-users across the country,” said HCL.

As part of the deal, HCL will provide physical hosting of the data centre and provisioning of business continuity services. HCL will also oversee areas covering application management pertaining to core insurance, business analytics, HRMS, CRM, portal, and knowledge management.
