TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  09 Mar 2009

HCL Technologies bid amount of Rs 220-230 crore came out as the lowest. Infosys came second with bid amount of Rs 300-330 crore.

HCL’s bid is now under validation by BSNL. SAP is partnering HCL in the project. SAP could not bid directly as BSNL had stipulated that only Indian firms can bid for the project.

The success full bidder is required to over see responsibilities concerning , planning, supply, installation, customisation, commissioning, training, operation and maintenance of the ERP project on a turnkey basis. The project is to be completed within 18 months
