In line with its launch in Chicago, wireless services provider Cricket in collaboration with Samsung Telecommunications America on Thursday pulled the wraps off the world’s largest running mobile phone in the Fidelity Plaza, Chicago.
Recognized by the Guinness World Records’ representative as the record-breaking phone that measures 11 feet by 15 feet; represents a blown up version of Samsung Messager that is scheduled to release on March 15.
The Messager has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, embedded 1.3-megapixel digital camera and MP3 player, as well as a variety of downloadable applications and games.
Launched in two colors- navy blue and green, the handset features multiple Bluetooth profiles, including stereo Bluetooth and files transfer capabilities for easy file and object exchange. The phone also includes a MicroSD slot for a removable memory card that allows customers to easily store their favorite music and photos.
