BPL Mobile announced the rechristening of its brand as Loop Mobile keeping in mind the growth and giving a fresh new brand identity, said the company.
Simultaneously the company also announced the doubling of its network capacity in the Mumbai region with the deployment of the latest NGIP (Next Generation Internet Protocol) and EDGE (Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution) technology. The upgradation comes at an investment of Rs 300 crore.
