Telecom Infrastructure company, Quippo Telecom is reportedly considering to raise about Rs 1,500 crore ($ 300 mn) from the overseas market using a mix of fund mopping either through existing investors or to new investors.

The fund raising proposal is subject to its merger with Tata Teleservices’ tower arm, Wireless-TT Info-Services (WTTIL). The deal struck in early part of the year is awaiting formal approval from the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB).
