TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  15 Apr 2009

The telecom tribunal, TDSAT issued notice to Trai over the regulator’s recent decision to scale down the termination charges to 20 paise from the earlier 30 paise. The move follows a petition filed by AUSPI opposing the move. Trai has to submit its reply by April 24.

Even the COAI came out against the decision and said during the proceedings in TDSAT that it also challenges the decision. COAI is opposing Trai’s decision on additional spectrum.

The TDSAT bench headed by Justice Kumar said that all the petitions filed by BSNL, COAI and AUSPI would be listed together for hearing on May 5.
