Apple claims one bn downloads for its App Store

Apple claimed that its App Stores offering applications to iPhone users registered one billion downloads within nine months of launching the concept.

 

The company also awarded its one-billionth subscriber named Connor Mulcahey of Weston, Conn with a $10,000 iTunes gift card, an iPod touch and a Time Capsule backup device.
