Motorola shareholders vent anger over financial state of company
TT Bureau |  |  06 May 2009

Motorola top management came under fire from its shareholders who expressed their anger at the company''s dismal performance for the last few quarters and the management's failure till now to tide over the situation. The shareholders numbering about 250 also questioned the pay package and other incentives of the top executives including CEO Greg Brown and Co-CEO Sanjay Jha.

"The company is in the gutter," said shareholder George Polous of south suburban Burbank. "They're destroying the company."

Co-CEO Sanjay Jha tried to reason that the pay packages appear inflated but in reality are a fraction of it since the stock prices of the company's share are running low. He also added that the executives had already taken a cut in their package including incentives.

Jha said that the company is bound for positive growth starting his year and the actual results will e reflected from the year 2010.
