Ericsson India to set up FTTH-based infrastructure for 3000-unit complex near Delhi
TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  08 May 2009

Ericsson India, in a first of its kind project, will build a Fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) technology based communications infrastructure for property management services provider, Radius Synergies.

The project is for a 3000-unit complex Delhi. The infrastructure will enable the residents to enjoy features such as IPTV, video-on-demand, broadband and other advanced services. Wi-Fi and high-speed downloads will also be possible with the infrastructure.

Apart from this, automated lighting, electricity bill payment and security services facilities will also be provided to the residents. And the residents will be allowed to select internet service provider as per their choice.

Ericsson has made use of its EDA 1500 GPON system for the project. The project requires Ericsson to provide systems integration, consulting, training and support services to Radius Synergies.
