Maharashtra-based political party, Shiv Sena has demanded 80 % job reservations for local Maharashtrian youth in the state-run PSU, MTNL.

The party reasons that government has asked for private companies to hire 80 % of locals and the same logic should be applied in case of MTNL as well.

The party also objected to MTNL not advertising the job vacancies in regional newspapers and only publishing it on company website.
