Finnish handset maker Nokia on Monday unveiled three new low-cost 3G phones- the 2730 Classic, the 7020 and 2720 Fold.
These new range of handset represents Nokia’s traditional candy bar design, and is targeted at entry-level prepaid users in both developing and developed markets.
All new models would be equipped to access Internet and work with Nokia''s range of emerging market services.
The Nokia 2720, a clamshell handset, is equipped with easy access to email, calendar, Internet connectivity and file sharing applications. It will reach the market in the third quarter and will be priced approximately €55.
And the Nokia 2730, with a candy-bar form, is the cheapest 3G handset, with faster access to the internet and a richer browsing experience. It is scheduled to be available in Q3 for €80.
Lastly the Nokia 7020 is a fashionable flip phone with a concealed external display and a 2 megapixel camera and will hit the market in Q4 with an estimated price of € 90.
