Synchronica announces availability of Push email solutions for SMEs
TT Bureau |  London |  11 Jun 2009

Provider of mobile email and synchronization solutions, Synchronica plc, on Thursday unveiled industry-standard push email and synchronization middleware that enables enterprises to connect low-priced handsets to corporate networks, for SMEs and middle or junior management layers of large organizations.

“We felt there was a gap in the market for a low-cost, business-grade mobile email and synchronization solution that could be installed on the corporate network and managed internally as an alternative to a hosted solution,” said Carsten Brinkschulte, CEO of Synchronica.

In the midst of growing economic tension, Synchronica Mobile Gateway Enterprise Edition, a self-care solution, helps employers save on heavy expenditure, with its ability of supporting a wide range of mobile handsets, said the company.

“In today''s climate, where the focus is on improving employee productivity and keeping costs down, an affordable self-care mobility solution hits the right spot. Our solution can cost about half as much per year as competing options and is an ideal supplement enabling smartphone-like functionality on entry-level devices,” added Carsten.

Based on open industry standards Push IMAP for mobile email and SyncML for synchronization of contacts, calendar, and many more, the solution, said the company, offers carrier-grade security, reliability, and scalability.
