Vodafone asked to halt its T20 Campaign by ICC
TT Correspondent |  Mumbai |  15 Jun 2009

The International Cricket Council (ICC) asked mobile service provider, Vodafone to immediately pull out its promotion of the ongoing T 20 World Campaign.

The promotion wherein the operator uses ICC’s logo to promote its streaming services as well as ball by ball updates may imply to the end-user that Vodafone has an official association with ICC which is not the case, complained ICC.

It has threatened Vodafone with legal action if the campaign is not stopped immediately.
