Tata Teleservices and ECI Telecom have come together to set-up a fixed broadband access network capable of supporting speeds of upto 18 mbps.

The all-IP network which will be equipped with ECI’s Hi FOCuS Multi Services Access Node (MSAN) and SR9000 Carrier Ethernet Witch Router (CESR) platform is already in operational across eight cities of Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Vizag, Vijayawada, Surat and Baroda.

The broadband network set-up is capable of offering rich triple-play services and applications such as IPTV, video on demand, high speed broadband internet, VoIP and other broadband-based services.
