Aircel in talks to sell 12,000 towers, claims report

Aircel is involved in talks with Quippo Telecom Infrastructure to sell its 12,000 telecom tower infrastructure and has appointed Nomura & Rothschild as its financial advisors for the proposed deal, reports the Economic Times.

As per the report, Aircel’s telecom tower infrastructure is valued at $ 1.5 billion at Rs 60 lakh per tower.

The development is believed to be in its early stage with other players also likely to throw in their hat in the ring.
