Bharti Airtel announced a new initiative offering information about job opportunities to its mobile subscribers in Karnataka.

Venkatesh V, CEO, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel Ltd, Karnataka, said, “Blue collar jobs like those of a driver, cook, guard etc have a steady demand at all times. Many people competent in these domains would be looking out for these jobs at any given point in time. Keeping this in mind, Airtel has made use of communication services and launched this service to bridge this demand supply gap. We hope all our customers in need of these jobs will make the most of this service and benefit from it.”

Interested subscribers need to dial *321*666# to gain information on local jobs with the categories including wide options such as Driver, Cook, Guard, Nurse, Housemaid etc.  Subscribers can also search jobs based on salary expectations and location.

Babajobs.com is partnering Airtel for the service.

The service will be available for Rs 10 valid for 10 days.
