TTML Q1 revenues stagnant; loss at Rs 34.3 crore

Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Ltd (TTML) reported a loss of Rs 34.3 crore for the company’s first quarter ended June 30, 2009. Loss in Q1 2008 was at Rs 34.72 crore. Revenues rose by 1.7 % to Rs 513.42 crore with the company attributing the drop to reduction in termination charges.

 

EBITDA grew by 1.9 % to Rs 158 crore while the EBITDA margin was 31 %.

 

The company said that income from VAS including data services contributed 15.4 % during the quarter. Revenues from telecommunication services were at Rs 509.9 crore while revenues from Passive Infrastructure Support Services were at Rs 16.4 crore.
