BSNL targets Rs 1,000 crore from tower infrastructure business

BSNL today said that it is targeting Rs 1,000 crore in a year from passive as well as active infrastructure sharing of with new mobile service providers.

 

The company claimed that Master Sharing Agreement (MSA) for sharing its towers is in final stages with some of the new entrants and will be finalized soon. The company is also in turn in talks with infrastructure providers to speed up its reach in the country.

 

BSNL said that it has more than 40,000 telecom towers.
