Spice Mobiles claims strong growth in Q1; eyes 10 % market share by 2010

Spice Mobiles recorded a profit of Rs 8.6 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2009. Revenues grew by 43 % to Rs 18.24 crore. The company had registered a net loss of 0.5 crore during the corresponding quarter last year.

 

The company’s strong performing markets include Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and the company also aims to expand further in international markets of Nepal, Africa, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Malaysia as well as entering new global markets in the i-2-I region (Israel-to-Indonesia).

 

Mr. Dilip Modi,  Chairman - Spice Mobiles Ltd. said, “Spice Mobiles has always sought to be innovative in entering new markets with consumer relevant new product offerings.
