Bharti Airtel today announced that it will set-up a new terrestrial cable network in the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. The company signed an MoU to this effect with the Royal Government of Bhutan.
The country will now be able to reach out to the globe through Airtell’s international connectivity. Airtel’s International cable landing stations in Chennai and Mumbai will compliment this initiative. The fibre optic link will be ring protected to ensure high uptime.
