Avaya GLobalConnect (AGC) announced today that Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will acts as its technology partner for managing and overseeing the former’s total internal IT outsourcing needs.

Mr. Anil Nair, Managing Director, Avaya GlobalConnect said, “We are happy to have chosen TCS as partner.  For us, scalability and cost-control are essential to tap the enormous potential of India market, expand customer base and sustain our leadership position. Outsourcing our IT systems to TCS will allow us invest the accruing savings towards growth and customer responsiveness.”

Mr. G Srinivasa Raghavan, Country Head, India Business, TCS said, “TCS has expertise in this space. We will provide comprehensive IT solution for AGC’s business needs and work with them on a well-integrated delivery platform built for quality service and high performance.”

The two firms did not comment on the value of the multi-year contract.
