Nokia’s Music Store debuts in India; offers 3 mn tracks

Nokia officially launched its Music Store in Mumbai, India with more than 3 million tracks across various genres available for downloads. Till recently the services were available only on selected Nokia models.

Nokia has forged tie-ups with leading music labels in India including names such as Tseries, Yashraj Music, Saregama, BIG Music and Venus.

Consumers are given variety of options to choose from for downloading the content. The services are offered with an ‘on-device’ client allowing users to download the content over air or use PC client.

 The India launch makes it the 21st country where the services are available.
