Sistema Shyam Teleservices’ MTS launched its mobile services in Jharkhand keeping in lines with company’s aim of rolling out its services across the country by Q3 2010.
MTS network presently covers 60% of the company’s planned coverage in the state with phase I covering Ranchi, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Lohardaga, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum and Giridih. By mid-September, the network will also cover Devghar and Sahibganj with all the remaining districts to be covered by October.
Subscribers can avail the services through 6,500 retail outlets in the state which be increased to 10,000 by end of this year.
