Huawei Technologies claimed InfoVision Award at the Broadband World Forum Europe 2009 for its SingleRAN Dual Mode RRU 3808 and Super Mobile Softswitch MSOFX3000 products.

Huawei claims that its softswitch solution helps operators achieve lower Total Cost of Ownership, improve service quality and boost transformation to an All-IP network. The Softswitch is capable of achieving a capacity of up to 10 million and promises to help service providers reduce 70 % in footprint and around 75 % in energy consumption.
