According to a report in The Times, Reliance Communications has held early-stage talks with Capgemini for acquisition. The report quotes its sources have said that officials of both the companies have met in recent months.

“The initial discussions failed to make progress after the parties could not agree on a price," the report added.

As per the report, the acquisition of Capgemini will give the ADAG access to European market.

Both the parties have declined comment on the speculations.
