Australia-based OSS player, Clarity announces new VP for services
TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  24 Nov 2009

Operational Support Systems (OSS) player, Clarity today appointed Douglas Gracie as the company’s new Vice President Services.

Till presently, Gracie was associated with Telcordia for three years having worked as VP Solution Delivery and VP Strategic Accounts. He has also worked for Cramer and with BT in the Asia-Pac region.

Jon Newbery, CEO of Clarity commented "As part of our strategy going forward, we need to ensure that our customers and partners have the right tools and level of support from Clarity. Douglas has built and managed customer support teams, education services and partner delivery programs around the globe. He has experience in restructuring and transforming teams into client-focused, revenue generating global groups and I believe his appointment will be a key hire for Clarity’s future growth.”

Gracie added “When you evaluate the OSS marketplace it’s apparent that the solutions out there don’t integrate particularly well. Clarity is the exception to that rule. Clarity is a specialist in value-added OSS solutions and I believe that now is the time for Clarity’s proposition to come to the forefront. I am looking forward to working with the organisation and bringing my skills and experience to the table, to help drive forward its future growth.”
