  State-run PSU BSNL and British Telecom (BT) today jointly launched managed global audio and web conferencing solutions targeted towards the enterprise segment. BSNL will offer the services under is Managed Enterprise Business Solutions.
The main differentiating feature of the service is that it provides the user with a toll free local number using which the user can set conferencing with 40 concurrent dial-ins across any country in the globe. Each dial-in can have multiple users who can participate in the conference.
On the launch of services, BSNL CMD Kuldeep Goyal, The greatest strength of these new services is found in the strong domestic reach provided by BSNL coupled with the global coverage enabled by BT’s network. This deepening partnership enables our customers to collaborate easily with their domestic and international users, partners and vendors, wherever they are in the world. It also helps our customers manage and reduce costs, improve productivity and helping to create a greener environment.”
The services are backed by a 7x24x365 helpdesk support. Unlike other conferencing services, it does not requires advance booking of the service.

Last year in October the two companies had entered into a deal to jointly offer managed services to the enterprise segment. The services offered included network integration, managed security, managed datacenter, hosted CRM/ Contact Center and remote infrastructure management services. |
