Motorola’s Droid mobile phone, Milestone is reported to have registered very high pre-order bookings through its online retailer, Expansys. The phone uses Android 2.0 operating system.

The model available is available for £449. For T-Mobile subscribers the model is available under a bundled data package for £ 35 per month rental and a lock-in period of 18 months.
