TT Bureau |  |  06 Jan 2010

Market leader Nokia has objected to the ongoing campaign of Mirc Electronics owned, Onida which makes use of a punchline, ‘Dimaag Nahi Hai Tabhi To No Kiya’, reports the Economic Times.

Nokia has termed the advertisement as disparaging complaining that the advertisement portrays Nokia in a poor light.

ET reports that Nokia has confirmed that it has indeed communicated to Onida to withdraw the advertisement.

Onida says that its idea behind the campaign was not to undermine any brand and it is just a tongue-in-cheek advertising style.
