Nortel offloaded 4.5 % stake held in Sasken Communications at an average price of Rs 186.27 per share with the total value realized being $ 5.3 million.

Nortel has been periodically shedding its stake in Sasken starting from 2008. Before the latest deal, Nortel held a 9.8% stake in Sasken.

Nortel had first acquired stake in Sasken in April 2005 for $ 10 million.
