UK-based Synchronica and Korean device manufacturer, KC Mobile unveiled a new device, MessagePhone which promises an integrated device and service solution making normal devices to function like smartphone-like functionality.
From operator point-of-view it opens a new segment to tap with data services.
The QWERTY keyboard phone offers features such as Push Email and Synchronization services, mobile Instant Messaging, a full HTML web browser and access to social networking sites. It also has a robust Personal Information Manager, optional Bluetooth connectivity, USB connector and a built-in FM radio.
It is priced at USD 99.00.
