Nokia partners with Yes Bank for mobile payment services

Nokia and Yes Bank are partnering to offer mobile payment services enabling consumers to pay through the mobile phones. The service will be offered over a mobile payment platform developed by Obopay which is already partnering Yes bank.

To start with, the services will be launched in Pune and will also be available through Nokia’s retail network. Transactions can be done over SMS, IVR, WAP, JAVA and FIRE.

 “The pilot in Pune will also review customer behaviour and delivery benchmarks to ensure a flawless service framework, prior to the national roll-out in a phased manner,” said the alliance.
