 Leading navigational and location-based service provider (LBS), MapmyIndia has come up with a enhanced and updated version, MapmyIndia Maps v4.0 promising to cover 620 cities at street level.
MapmyIndia says that the new version covers broad locality-level details as well as block/sub-locality level details along with complete inner-city street network, and the most extensive set of POIs. The maps on a pan-India basis cover 5,76,000 towns and villages including 1 million kilometers of fully navigable road network and fully navigable national, state and major district highway as well as complete inner-city street network.
The maps provide detailed information on 2 million unique destinations across 52 categories including option to search by popular name, abbreviation, phone numbers etc.
They cover 125 tourist cities covering 30,000 hot spots such as places to stay, eat and so on.
400 professionals and 150 map specialist engineers are involved in the development of the maps.
