Ericsson recommends LTE for Indian operators as an alternative to WiMAX

Telecom gear manufacturer, Ericsson has advised Indian service providers to adopt Long Term Evolution (LTE) as a technological alternative to WiMAX, reports news agency PTI.

According to Ericsson, CTO Haken Eriksson with only 20 MHz available in India per operator for WiMAX, there maybe severe interference problems.
