Vodafone Essar launched new value added services for its subscrivers on the occasion of ‘Poila Baisakh’, the Bengali New year.

It has come up with a voice portal offering caller tunes, ring tones, recipes of popular Bengali cuisines, mobile greetings, song dedications and trivia around the New Year. The services can be availed by dialing 567450 with call rates of Rs 6 per minute.

It has also come up with a WAP portal offering animated wall papers on the theme of the Bengali New Year.

Users can also send personalized SMS for Rs.3 per SMS.
