 Qatar Telecom popularly known as QTel awarded a 3G network deployment contract to Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN).

As part of the deal, NSN has provided Single RAN solution including its Flexi Multiradio Base Stations and IP-Backhaul technology to QTel. Additionally NSN has also deployed NetAct network management system helping the operator to monitor, manage and optimize the network.
