UK-based Synchronica plc. announced a new deal from unnamed African operator for its Mobile Gateway solution. The contract was facilitated by Synchronica’s distributor, Brightstar Corp. and is valued at $1.25 million.
Additionally, the company also announced it has received its first purchase order through its global reseller agreement with Nokia Siemens Networks for a mobile operator in North Africa. The deal requires Synchronica to provide 100,000 licenses and professional services for Synchronica Mobile Gateway 4.1 and 20,000 licenses for Mobile Backup. The purchase order is the first generated through the preferred global reseller agreement with Nokia Siemens Networks announced on 17 February 2009.
