TT Correspondent |  Mumbai |  15 Jul 2010

Hyderabad-based VAS enabler, Netxcell Ltd. announced the launch of Cell Broadcasting Center (CBC) that enables simultaneous delivery of broadcast messages to multiple mobile subscribers.

Netxcell has filed a patent for this solution that is 3GPP compliant.

The solution mainly addresses situations requiring sending of messages in a one-to-many environment such as sending of news to subscribers or other information such as new services, tariff plans and campaigns.

The solution can also be converged with location-based services says Netxcell.

Speaking on the launch, Mr Debasis Chatterji, CEO, Netxcell Limited said, “We are extremely delighted to launch this multiple message solution, which will benefit the telecom operators and subscribers in reduced cost of operation and non-intrusive service with valuable information respectively. We expect CBC to drive our growth path through its excellent communication benefits. Supported with its legacy, Netxcell always strives to come up with innovative services that benefit the mobile community as a whole.”
