Alcatel-Lucent recently celebrated the International Days of Caring (IDOC) by arranging for a day of fun and recreation for the underprivileged children.
The initiative is sponsored by the Alcatel-Lucent Foundation and is multi-month employee volunteer initiative. Alcatel-Lucent organized volunteer activities in Delhi and NCR in association with Faith Foundation. Faith Foundation works for the upliftment and empowerment of the underprivileged children in the city.
The employees from the Alcatel-Lucent in Delhi-NCR organized a day out to Amusement Park for the disadvantaged kids. They also organized a fund donation drive and old clothes collection drive for the NGO.
“The mission of our program is to bring to life Alcatel-Lucent’s value of good corporate citizenship and the International Days of Caring program affirms to our sincerity to the cause,” said Ronald D’ Souza, Vice President-Human Resources, Alcatel-Lucent India. “This program will be supported extensively by our employees with a strong sponsorship and commitment from the Alcatel-Lucent foundation.” |
