Tulip Telecom bagged Network Bandwidth Service Provider (NBSP) contracts for deploying data connectivity services in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat under the R-APDRP scheme.
Under the contract, Tulip will supply, installation and commission MPLS VPN, internet and other connectivity services to all the project towns under the R-APDRP scheme floated by Power Corporations of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Gujarat worth Rs 158.2 Cr. The projects are required to be delivered over a period of 12 to 18 months and maintained over a period of 5 years by Tulip Telecom Ltd.
Tulip has been selected for executing these orders as a part of the larger Restructured Accelerated Power Development Reforms Program (R-APDRP), an initiative driven by Ministry of Power, Government of India to set up reliable & automated systems for sustained collection of accurate base line data & the adoption of Information Technology in the areas of metering, billing, energy accounting & customer care.
