Malaysia’s Maxis awarded a new next-generation high speed internet network buildout and managed services contract to China’s Huawei Technologies. Post deployment, maxis will be able to offer fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) services.
As part of the deal, Huawei will deliver an end-to-end turnkey services package that includes active and passive equipment, holistic ODN (Optical Distribution Network) designs, and construction management for the construction of Maxis’ Next-Generation High-Speed Internet network.
