Bharti Enterprises handset terminal manufacturing unit, Beetel announced its foray in the lucrative Indian mobile handset market with launch of eight mobile phones.
All the eight models launched in the first phase are dual-SIM models with FM and camera. Some of the handsets also have QWERTY keyboard, triple SIM (GSM+GSM+CDMA) capabilities.
The price of the handsets varies in the range of Rs.1,750 to Rs.7,000.

In the first phase of the launch, ‘Beetel’ mobile phones will be available through a nationwide distribution network of over 4000 outlets across Delhi, Haryana, UP & Uttaranchal, Rajasthan, Punjab and the seven North Eastern States. The company plans to establish its presence across India by the end of the current fiscal. In addition, Beetel phones will be supported by an extensive service network of over 400 service centres backed by SMS facility for locating the service centres across the country, said the company. |
