Xiaomi India slashes price of Redmi Note 4G smartphone to Rs 7999

Mi India, on Tuesday announced that Redmi Note 4G is now available for Rs. 7,999, down Rs. 2,000 from the original launch price of Rs. 9,999.
 
Redmi Note 4G first went on sale in India in December 2014. It was Xiaomi’s very first 4G device to be introduced in India, with support for both 4G bands: FDD-LTE (Band 3 - 1800 MHz) and TDD-LTE (Band 40 - 2300 MHz). It was the 1st dual-band 4G device to be launched under Rs. 10,000 in India.
 
Redmi Note 4G received a warm welcome from Mi fans for its fast surfing, streaming and gaming speeds. Now, lower costs have enabled us to reduce the price of Redmi Note 4G, and this translates into savings that Mi fans can enjoy.

• Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928, Quad-core 1.6GHz processor
• 2GB RAM + 8GB Flash
• microSD card slot (supports up to 64GB)
• 5.5 inch HD IPS display
• 13MP rear camera / 5MP front camera
• 3100 mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery
 
Starting today, Redmi Note 4G will be available for Rs. 7,999 on company’s website Mi.com and across Mi India partners including Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, The Mobile Stores and Airtel stores.
