Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 dual-SIM smartphone with octa-core CPU launched at Rs 5999

Micromax has recently launched the new Canvas series device, the Canvas Xpress 2 smartphone exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 5,999. It is the cheapest octa-core device till date. It is available in Black finish with Gold rim. It comes with 500MB of free 3G data per month for 2 month for Vodafone customers. It will be available exclusively from Flipkart through flash sale starting from August 4th from 2PM. Registrations on Flipkart will end mid-night of August 3rd.

Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 features a 5 inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core MediaTek processor with 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS, which is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. It features a 13 megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED Flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. It has Smart Gestures, Quick Look and Camera Widget. It packs Cirrus Logic Wolfson Stereo DAC for an enhanced audio experience.
 
Canvas Xpress 2 comes with 8 GB internal memory that is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. For connectivity, it includes – dual-SIM, 3G, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is power backed by a 2500 mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 393 hours of standby time.
