Asus, on Wednesday unveiled its new ZenFone Pegasus 3 smartphone in China. The handset will come in two variants. T the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage model is priced at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs. 13,000) and the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model is priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 15,000). However, there are no details about its launch in India and other Asian countries.
Asus ZenFone Pegasus 3 features a 5.2-inch (720x1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. The handset runs ZenUI 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and sports a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. It sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture and also packs a 5 megapixel front camera.
It is a dual-SIM device where users get one slot for the Nano-SIM and another slot for either a second Nano-SIM or a microSD card. The device measures 149.5x73.7x8.5mm and is a full metal body device.
For connectivity, it supports – 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB and also supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility. The device is power backed by a 4100 mAh battery. |
