Long awaited Vivo V5 plus selfie-focused smartphone is unveiled in Malaysia just few days prior to its India launch. The India launch is scheduled for January 23. A third party retailer made it available for pre-orders on its website. The specification of the smartphone is also available on the retailer’s website.
Vivo V5 Plus is a dual-SIM smartphone measures 152.8x74.00x7.26 mm and weighs 158.6 grams. It features a 5.5 inch full-HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB RAM and runs Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The major attraction of this device is its camera. It sports a 16 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and the front camera comes in the form of a dual camera setup with 20 megapixel + 8 megapixel sensors.
Vivo V5 Plus comes with 64GB of internal storage that is further expandable up to 256GB using microSD card. The device is power backed by a 3160 mAh battery that supports fast charging. For connectivity, Vivo V5 Plus includes - 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. It comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded right into the home button.
The price of the device on the Malaysian retailer website is RM 1799 that is nearly INR 27,500. |
