Wickedleak Inc, on Wednesday introduced Wammy One smartphone in the Indian market for Rs. 7,990. The smartphone is currently available for booking exclusively at Wickedleak's website.

Now gaming, watching movies and online videos will be an all together new experience for user’s. We have brought down the price to offer better value to our users by monetizing the android OS. This is in line with our future strategy and vision. We want to sell hardware at cost price by monetizing the software of a smartphone as we enter into strategic partnerships with app development companies,” said Aditya Mehta, CEO, Wickedleak Inc.

Wammy One features a 5 inch IPS OGS capacitive touch screen and is powered by Octa-core processor with 1GB RAM. It comes with dual SIM capabilities ( 3G and 3G). The device runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and also comes with gesture support with a number of pre-defined gestures like smart wake. Wammy One include an 8 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera. The device comes with 8GB built-in storage and it is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. For connectivity if includes - wifi, bluetooth, GPS and A-GPS for advanced navigation. It comes with a  2800 mAh Li-Polymer battery for its long duration working.

The phone will be available in black + slate grey and crystal white + gold colour options and Wickedleak will also offer a crystal cover and a screen guard with the phone. Priced at Rs. 7,990, the Smartphone will be available for pre-booking exclusively at Wickedleak's website and the pre booking begins on 29th December 2014 with a limited stock of 10,000 units.
