Xiaomi Redmi 1S vs Motorola Moto E budget smartphone; online marketing trend of modern era in India helps a lot to deliver affordable smartphone

In the recent few months Indian telecom market has seen the launched of number of budget smartphone with high end specification and out of many new entries Motorola Moto E and now Xiaomi Redmi 1S has already attracted a lot of Indian masses specially a Indian youth which prefer high end smartphone in manageable budget which Motorola and Xiaomi successfully manage for the Indian youth and gain popularity and profit as well, without established their highly well maintained retail stores for sale in Indian market. They prefer online marketing trend of modern era to save their expenses and deliver more and more features in affordable price segment and established their valuable place in the Indian telecom market, which has lot of potential for smartphone business and which is growing with a good pace and also attracted a lot of new telecom investors day by day.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S

Xiaomi Redmi 1S is a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) device with dual standby. It features a 4.7 inch IPS-LCD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection and a pixel density of roughly 312ppi. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with MIUI v5 skinned on top. The company has promised an upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI v6 by the end of this year.

Xiaomi's Redmi 1S is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of built-in storage and up to 32GB of expandable memory via microSD card. The Redmi 1S also features an 8 megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash, alongside a 1.6 megapixel front-facing camera.

                                                    

For connectivity Redmi 1S comes with 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Direct and hotspot functionality, Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB OTG. It is powered by a 2000 mAh battery, weighs 158 grams, and has dimensions of 137x69x9.9mm.

The company has also announced accessories for the Redmi 1S, with screen protectors (matte and clear) priced at Rs. 179, a flip cover at Rs. 559, back cover in colours at Rs. 459, and a silica gel cover at Rs. 359.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S will be available from online retailer FlipKart for Rs. 5,999.

                                                   

Motorola Moto E

After the successful launch of Moto G and Moto X in February this year, Motorola has launched its entry level dual-SIM budget smartphone Moto E in India for Rs. 6,999. Moto E is available via online retailer Flipkart in the Indian market. Moto E comes in multiple colourful rear shell options including Black, Lemon, and Turquoise variants. However, it is currently listed in Black and White variants on Flipkart.

Motorola Moto E is a dual-SIM phone. It comes with 4.3 inch qHD display with 540 x 960 pixel resolution and 256ppi pixel density. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen with its 'water-nano coating' which provides a measure of water resistance. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

Motorola Moto E has 5 megapixel rear camera but no front camera and no flash for its rear camera. The phone has 4GB internal storage which can be expandable up to 32GB through microSD card. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, Adreno 302 GPU with 1GB RAM.

For connectivity it includes: 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack with 1980 mAh battery.

Moto E will come with 20 user-removable back covers with some software features such as Motorola Assist, Alert, and Migrate. Moto G also offers 50% discount on phone covers, Transcend microSD card and Flipkart is also additionally offering free preselected books worth Rs 1,000. These books will be available for download within 48 hours of you logging in to the Flipkart eBooks App. The list of books include Speed Post by Shobha De, Wise and otherwise by Sudha Murthy and Khushwant Singh’s The Collected Novels. Flipkart is also offering EMI facility starting from 3 to 12 months.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Motorola Moto E will definitely give challenge to Indian domestic brands like Micromax, Lava, Karbonn which is known for its low cost value for money with high end features smartphones in the Indian market and not only these it can give tough competition to other brands like Samsung, Sony, Nokia and their entery-level smartphones.
